Fair week big success at speedway - The fair started out with a big high as the USMTS  series brought the best Modified Drivers from seven states as far away as OK & KS.  Yet it was local track stars of Tommy Myer, Brad Waits and Todd Sharkey, leading the the way.  The class of the field all night was the #24 Brad Waits as he dominated the first 35 of 40 laps only to fall short of the win and finish with a broken U-joint.  From there Tommy Myer the "Bixby Bullet" took the helm of the field, with several challenges from local track regular #45 Todd Sharkey, followed by Tim Donlinger in his new Skyrocket Chassis. 

The crowd was our the edge of their seat  for most of the race as they enjoyed one of the fastest three wide tracks the speedway has seen, and racing for every position throughout the field.  At the end it was Myer picking up his first win of the USMTS series season, followed by Sharkey, Donlinger, Hughes, and Mr. Excitement himself Cory Dripps coming all the way from the 18th starting spot with his new BC chassis to finish 5th.
