      The EVE of DESTRUCTION HUGE       In a silly and wacky night of events new to the Speedway, an excited and entertained crowd witnessed the first ever "Eve of Destruction" at Kasson Speedway.  The night included School Bus races, Bar Stool Racers, "Train Cars," Frozen T-Shirts, Human Gerbil races, the "Gauntlet Race" featuring Maynard & Bernie Swanson, Spectator Drag Races, and by far the crowd favorite,  the "Trailer" Race to wrap up the night.

The night started out with the school bus qualifying race with Maynard, Bernie, Local business man Steve Johnson, and everyones favorite employee "The Beerman"  Tyler Kaulfold.  The school buses, already at hit at the speedway this season, warmed up the crazy crowd.  Next it was the Barstool races with many local track names qualifying to the feature event  including Bobby Swanson & Modified Driver Alan Mondus, the current "Barstool World Champion." The Train  race then took the oval for 15 laps of fun.  The Gauntlet race included a spectacular roll-over of the van driven by Maynard, which had the crowd going wild.

The Bus race was crazy which started with first ever four wide start at the speedway, which made for a wild crowd standing start with the Beerman being spun by Maynard in turn one and racing backwards down the backstretch.  at the end it was the Beer-Man almost rolling and Bernie Swanson victorious.

All in all it was a great night of fun and as dictated by the huge crowd, for sure a repeat to the speedway....
